Article 4 — Intellectual Property
All elements of the website and platform (texts, interface, algorithms, logos, databases, source code, ScanUpGo trademark) are the exclusive property of Zakaria Zaouat, protected under copyright law (Art. L.111-1 CPI), trademark law, and sui generis database producer rights (Art. L.341-1 CPI). Any unauthorized reproduction is subject to prosecution (Art. L.335-2 CPI: up to 3 years imprisonment and €300,000 fine).
Article 5 — Promotional Games — Legal Qualification
The fortune wheel offered by ScanUpGo is a free promotional game with no purchase obligation, open to all participants. It does not fall under the lottery prohibition (French law of 21 May 1836). Each merchant is responsible for ensuring that the game complies with local regulations applicable in their country. ScanUpGo does not guarantee compliance of its service with the laws of third countries.
